What this website collects, why, where it goes, how long it is kept and what you can ask us to do about it. It describes what the site actually does today, not what a template assumes.

Who is responsible
Skybrine Exim ("Skybrine", "we", "us") is a partnership firm registered in India, with its office at 41/30, Church Street, Narasingapuram, Bhel Post, Ranipet, Tamil Nadu 632406, India. Skybrine is the data fiduciary — the controller — for information submitted through this website. Full registration details are on the Corporate Information page.
For any question about your information, and for any request under this policy, write to info@skybrine.com with "Privacy" in the subject line. That address reaches Skybrine's grievance officer for data protection, who is responsible for answering you and for escalating anything that cannot be resolved.
If you write to us about your information and do not receive a substantive reply within 30 days, that is a failure on our part and you are entitled to escalate it — to the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, or to the supervisory authority where you live.
What this website collects
Only what you type into an enquiry form, plus a small amount of technical context needed to handle and route it. There is no account, no login and no profile.
- The answers you give in an enquiry form — which differ by form; every field is shown to you as you complete it
- Your contact details, so that Skybrine can reply
- The page the enquiry came from, the language you were reading in, and the date and time
- A reference number generated for your enquiry so that you and we can both find it again
- For requests to Ask Skybrine, the text of your message, so that it can be answered and routed
What this website does not collect
This list matters as much as the one above, and it is enforced in the software rather than promised in prose: the build of this website fails, and cannot be deployed, if any public form is given a field that asks for identity or financial data. That check runs on every single build.
- Identity document numbers or images — Aadhaar, PAN, passport, Emirates ID, driving licence, national identity cards or any equivalent
- Bank account numbers, card numbers, UPI credentials, PINs, passwords or one-time passcodes
- Biometric data of any kind
- Advertising identifiers, cross-site tracking identifiers or third-party marketing tags
- Location beyond the country or city you choose to type into a form
- Any special category of personal data — health, religion, caste, political opinion, sexual orientation or trade union membership
File attachments
File upload is not enabled on this website. Where a form mentions supporting material, it invites you to describe it; Skybrine will agree a secure route with you before you send anything. If upload is enabled in future, this section will be rewritten before it is switched on, and it will say where files are stored, for how long and who can open them.
Why we process it, and on what basis
Every purpose below is paired with the ground we rely on. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Indian processing rests on your consent, given when you choose to submit the form after being told what it is for. Where the UK or EU GDPR applies to you, the equivalent ground is named alongside.
- To understand your requirement and reply to it — consent (DPDP Act); performance of steps taken at your request prior to a contract, Article 6(1)(b) (GDPR)
- To route your enquiry to the right people inside Skybrine and to follow it up — consent; legitimate interests in operating a business responsibly, Article 6(1)(f)
- To keep a record of what was asked and what was answered, including for dispute and audit purposes — legitimate interests; legal obligation where a record is required by law, Article 6(1)(c)
- To detect and prevent abuse of this website, including spam and automated submission — legitimate interests
- To answer a request you make under this policy, and to prove we answered it — legal obligation
Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@skybrine.com. Withdrawal applies going forward: it does not make unlawful anything already done while consent was in place, and it does not erase a record we are required by law to keep. If you withdraw consent, we will stop processing your enquiry, which in practice means we stop working on it.
Where it goes
An enquiry travels over an encrypted connection to a server-side function operated for Skybrine, and from there into Skybrine’s own business systems so that a person can act on it. It is not published, sold, rented, licensed, or shared for anyone else’s marketing, ever.
The processors involved in that path are the website and function host, Netlify, Inc. (United States); the transactional email provider used to deliver the enquiry to Skybrine’s inbox; and Zoho Corporation, where Skybrine’s customer relationship system records it. Each is engaged under its own data processing terms and may process data only on Skybrine’s instructions. Where processing takes place outside your country, it relies on the transfer mechanisms in those terms — standard contractual clauses in the case of transfers out of the EU and UK.
Skybrine will also disclose information where it is legally obliged to: to a court, a regulator, a tax authority or a law enforcement agency acting under proper authority. Where we are permitted to tell you that this has happened, we will.
If Skybrine’s business or a part of it is transferred, enquiries relating to that part may transfer with it, under the same commitments set out here.
Artificial intelligence
Ask Skybrine is a structured assistant on this website. When a generative model is connected to it, your message is sent to that provider solely to produce the answer you see. It is not used to train anybody’s model, and Skybrine’s agreement with the provider prohibits that use.
Before any message leaves this website it is scanned for anything resembling an identity document number, a bank or card number or a credential. If such a pattern is detected, the message is not sent to the provider at all and you are told instead not to send it. This runs whether or not a model is connected.
No decision that affects you is made automatically. Every enquiry is read by a person before Skybrine acts on it.
How long it is kept
We keep what we need for as long as we need it, and no longer. The periods below run from the last contact with you about that enquiry.
- An enquiry that does not become business: 24 months, then deleted
- An enquiry that becomes a customer relationship: for the life of that relationship and 8 years afterwards, which is the period Indian tax and company records law requires
- Ask Skybrine conversation text: 90 days, then deleted
- Records of a request you made under this policy, and our answer: 3 years, because we may need to show we answered it
- Server logs, which contain technical data and no form content: 30 days
How it is protected
Everything is transmitted over an encrypted connection. This website makes no request to any third-party server, sets no advertising cookie and loads no external script, so there is no third party in a position to observe you while you use it. Credentials for Skybrine’s systems exist only on the server and are never present in anything your browser downloads.
Access inside Skybrine is limited to the people who need it to answer you. No security is absolute, and we do not claim otherwise; if a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the relevant authority within the period the law requires.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, ask us to stop using it, or complain about how we have handled it.
Under the DPDP Act you also have the right to nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or become incapable of exercising them yourself. Under the GDPR you additionally have rights to restrict processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these, write to info@skybrine.com quoting your enquiry reference if you have one. We will acknowledge within 7 days and answer substantively within 30 days. There is no charge. We may need to ask you something that only you would know, in order to be sure we are not handing your information to somebody else — we will never ask you for an identity document to do that.
Cookies and browser storage
This website sets no cookies at all. It stores three things in your own browser — your language, your light or dark preference, and any unsent form draft — which never leave your device and which Skybrine cannot read. The Cookies page explains this in full.
Children
This website is not directed at children, and Skybrine does not knowingly process the personal data of anyone under 18 through it. Skybrine Work is open only to people aged 18 and over. If you believe a child has submitted information here, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
This policy was last updated on 15 September 2026. If we change it materially we will change that date and, where the change affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you directly.
